GIFT OF SECURITIES
With a gift of securities, you can support CST and realize a potentially significant benefit for yourself.  Gifts of securities are tax-deductible at full market value on the date of the transfer to CST while potentially saving income tax and capital gains tax on the appreciation.  To transfer securities, download and complete our Stock Donation form and follow the instructions.
DONOR-ADVISED FUNDS
Contact your Donor Advised Fund Administrator to recommend Congregation Shaarey Tefilla for a contribution.  Your Donor Advised Fund account balance can potentially grow over time through investment options thus increasing the amount of money available to donate in the future.  To open a tax-advantaged Donor Advised Fund with the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis, contact Josh Lodolo at jlodolo@jfgi.org or click here DonorAdvisedFund2 for more information.
IRA DISTRIBUTIONS
Individuals who are age 70½ or older can make a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) up to $100,000 each year from their IRA directly to CST and avoid paying income taxes on the distribution.  Generally, IRA distributions are treated as taxable income.  Contact your Financial Advisor to initiate an IRA distribution to CST.

Email the Treasurer or call the office at (317) 733-2169 with any questions.

Congregation Shaarey Tefilla is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law, provided no goods or services were exchanged for this gift. Please consult your tax advisor regarding specific questions about your deductions.
